    1940s Shawnee Pottery Puss' n Boots Cookie Jar Reproduction(based on messy script writing). Super Rare Gold Trim and Flower Decal Design. Marked "Patented Puss n Boots U.S.A."

    The rare gold trimmed version is in amazing condition with a yellow dove on the hat. The cape is tied with a gold-trimmed white bow. The jar has colorful flower decals on the blue trimmed booties and gold trimmed cape.

    Marked on bottom: "Patented Puss n Boots U.S.A."

    After speaking with someone that has collected, bought, and sold Shawnee Pottery for 30-40 years we have come to the conclusion that this piece may be a very well done reproduction. This is based only upon the embossed mark on the bottom of the jar. The jar is amazingly done but the impression on the bottom appears to be off from all other "Patented Puss 'n Boots U.S.A." impressions. First, it is a very faint impression that appears to be filled with glaze, and second the Capital "B" in Boots is different from those found on other Shawnee Puss 'n Boots pieces.

    If product is returned and was shipped via free $35 shipping, who is responsible for that cost?

    The buyer is responsible for the initial and return shipping costs on all returns. The initial cost of Free Shipping on orders over $35 will be deducted from the refund to the buyer.

    How do I return an item?

    You must contact WoodChopTreasures and work out why the product is being returned. Item must be shipped back to WoodChopTreasures using the same method that WoodChopTreasures used to ship item to buyer insured for the value of the initial purchase at the buyers expense. Refund will be made minus any costs incurred by WoodChopTreasures once product has arrived and is in the same condition that it was in when it left WoodChopTreasures.

    There are no guarantees by our shop that your treasure will arrive before Christmas when ordered after Thanksgiving. We process and ship all orders on the next business day.
